-

David “Dave” Paul Hermanson was born May 6, 1959, and died just three days short of his 63rd birthday from a tragic car accident May 3, 2022, while returning to his home in Hot Springs, Ark., from the “vacation of a lifetime” in Arizona.

Dave graduated from Moorhead (Minn.) High School and later from Minnesota Technical School in marketing. He moved to Hot Springs to be nearer to his parents, Raymond and Aune, his sister, Liisa, and brother, Mark.

Dave spent many fun summers enjoying lake life on Rush Lake in Minnesota. Dave was known as “Lawn Mower Dave” from his lawn service business. He also worked in Hot Springs and Jacksonville in the Parks and Recreation Department. When he practiced his magic act, we called him “The Fishin’ Magician.” He was also credited as a Master Gardener.

Dave’s legacy will be all the funny stories we all know of him and his willingness to make us laugh and help his friends in need.

Dave is survived by his daughter, Britney; granddaughter, Anjah Faye; sister, Liisa, Ozark, Ark.; brothers, Michael, Perham, Minn., and Mark, Hot Springs. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and Brother Gary.

A celebration of David’s will be held at a later date.
