Nona Meyerpeter

Nona Meyerpeter, age 72, of Hot Springs, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

She was born on May 29, 1949, in Pisgah, Iowa, the daughter of Myles Cain and Evelyn Block Cain. On June 24, 1967, she married the love of her life, Daniel J. Meyerpeter, who passed away on May 10, 2018. They were married 50 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Myles Cain Jr. and Doug Cain; and one sister, Lori Pummel.

She is survived by four daughters, Lisa Huggs and spouse, Dennis, Shelly Caldwell, Jennifer Singleton-eads and spouse, Josh, and Jami Meyerpeter, all of Hot Springs; nine grandchildren, Kyle Godwin, Kymberlea (Greg) Griffin, Stephen Smith, Daniel Meyerpeter, Liam Singleton, Emma Eads, C.J. Meyerpeter, Evie Meyerpeter and Joey Eads; four great-grandchildren, Kycie Godwin, Kam Godwin, Laney Griffin and Gage Griffin; one sister, Jeanette Cain of Council Bluffs, Iowa; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022, with Brother George Lynch officiating in the Smith Family Funeral Home chapel, Hot Springs.
