Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield announces two new executives

Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield recently announced the addition of two new executives.

Erin Maxwell has been named lead executive of Customer Service for Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. In this role, Maxwell will lead Customer Service for all the company’s lines of business, a news release said.

Maxwell joined Arkansas Blue Cross in 2005 and has served in various roles in internal operations for the company and its affiliates, across multiple lines of business. She began her career as a Customer Service supervisor at the company’s Medicare call center and most recently served as the director of BlueAdvant­age Administra­tors of Arkansas Customer

Service and interim director of Customer Service for all product lines.

Maxwell attained her Profession­al, Health Insurance Advanced Studies certificat­ion from America’s Health Insurance Plans and is an alumnus of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Greater Little Rock program, and the Arkansas Business Executive Leadership Academy.

The company also announced that David Jarnagin has been named lead executive of Customer Accounts & Membership for Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

In his role, Jarnagin will be responsibl­e for enrollment, billing, health plan member ID cards and customer accounts status, a release said.

He previously served as manager of Payment Innovation­s.

Before joining Arkansas Blue Cross in 2017, Jarnagin spent 19 years at Electronic Data Systems/Hewlett-Packard/DXC Technologi­es.

Jarnagin holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administra­tion from Harding University in Searcy.
