Thomas J. Ward Sr.

MOUNTAIN PINE — Thomas J. Ward Sr., born July 17, 1932, in Waldron, Ark., left his earthly home on May 14, 2022. He passed peacefully at his home in Mountain Pine, Ark.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn WardJohns, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was well loved by many friends and his church family.

Thomas enjoyed sitting on his porch swing with his wife listening to the birds and the children playing in the neighborhood.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. Friday, May 20, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home, with a celebration of Thomas’ life immediately following at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Kenneth Humphrey officiating.

Pallbearers are Tony Johns, Billy Johns, Joshua Johns, Corry Stricklin, Justin Oliver and Mack Stipes.

Honorary pallbearers are, the Mountain Pine Police Department, Richard Lobbs, Ruey Hendrix, Terry Ragsdale and Paul Long.
