Judy Ellen Clark, age 77, of Hot Springs, received her ultimate healing on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023. So now, she is running, and praising Jesus on the streets of gold with her family.

She was born on July 17, 1945, in Jonesboro, to the late Exie and Exielue Floyd. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Adolph Floyd, Bobby Floyd, Manuel Floyd and Donnie Floyd; and two sisters, Alice Dale and Eleane Weatherfor­d.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John Mack Clark; three children, Mary Ellen (Jerry) Smith, Latacha Elleane Smith and Michael William Clark; one fur baby, Abby; five grandchild­ren, Elizabeth Rusher, Amber Sparks, Joshua Smith, Jacob Baker and Brittney Clark; 10 great-grandchild­ren, Lexi Heimrich, Brayden Campbell, Gage Freeman, Vincent Baker, Violet Baker, Lucas Clark, Kasey Monte, Robert Monte, Zaylee Monte and Thomas Monte; one sister, Mary Lou (Arkey) Dale of Truman; one brother, Elmer Floyd of Glen Rose; a host of nieces and nephews, along with many wonderful friends.

Judy was a devoted Christian, an active member in several churches over many years, as well as a Sunday school teacher and song leader. She told everyone about her Jesus. She supported the Youth Ranch for many years. She was the neighborho­od “Mom” and raised many kids over the years. She was also a counselor to many who came to visit. So, pull up a chair and get a cup of coffee, you may be a minute. Most of all, she loved her family unconditio­nally.

A celebratio­n of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, in the Smith Family Funeral Home chapel, Hot Springs.
