Crenshaw named Levi’s chief operating officer

-

Levi Hospital recently promoted Keri Crenshaw to the position of chief operating officer.

Crenshaw holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (Medical Laboratory Science) and is a Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (HACP), a news release said.

After moving to Hot Springs from northeast Arkansas in 1991, Crenshaw began working for Levi Hospital in January 1998 as the laboratory director. “Family matters took her away from Hot Springs in 2006. When Crenshaw and her family moved back to Hot Springs in 2015, the laboratory director position was open due to a retirement, so she was able to rejoin the Levi Hospital staff and reassume the role as lab director. In November 2020, she became the hospital’s compliance officer,” the release said.

“My goal as the Chief Operating Officer of Levi Hospital is to grow the programs that are already in place and add programs that compliment those programs,” Crenshaw said in the release.

“I believe that Levi’s commitment to Hot Springs and the surrounding community is what will help us achieve that goal. Mental health awareness has come to the forefront of many conversations especially since the COVID pandemic began. I believe Levi is in a unique position to help our community achieve a more balanced health care approach for those that suffer from mental illness,” she said.

“I am a member of the committee that organizes the Hot Springs Out of the Darkness Walk to support Suicide Prevention.”

Levi Hospital has offered programs for Mental Health and Physical Healing for many years and has been serving the Hot Springs community’s health needs since 1914.

“I love Hot Springs, especially the downtown area and enjoy sharing the downtown experience with friends and family when they visit. The live race meet has always been a special part of the Hot Springs experience for me, but beauty of this entire area is what has kept me here so much of my adult life,” she said.

Crenshaw said she enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors. She is married to Joe Crenshaw, “and they enjoy fresh air and the creek that runs through their property in the Jones Mill area of Hot Spring County. Keri and Joe’s daughter, Miranda, lives in Hot Springs and is a member of the Arkansas National Guard and works full-time as a supervisor

in the food and beverage industry. Their son Mitchell and wife Bethany live outside of Cabot and are expecting their first grandchild.”

“Providing inpatient psychiatric care, outpatient behavioral

health, and physical therapy, Levi Hospital is here to help,” the release said.
