Mary L. Westfall
GLENWOOD — Mary Lewis Westfall, age 85, of Glenwood, Ark., passed away Friday, March 17, 2023.
She was born Nov. 17, 1937, in Amity, Ark., the daughter of Young Columbus Norris and Effie Whisenhunt Norris. On July 12, 1963, Mary was married to the true love of her life, John Russell Westfall, who preceded her in death just five short months ago, on Oct. 2, 2022. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Evelyn Sue Dobson.
Mary was a homemaker and a member of the Glenwood Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling and visiting with her family and friends. One of her greatest joys in life was taking care of her chickens and her many pets.
Above all, Mary was a dedicated and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, who adored her family. Mary brought so much happiness to her loved ones, and they each dearly loved and cherished her. Without a doubt, Mary will be deeply missed by all who had the joy of knowing her.
While our hearts are breaking that we must say goodbye for now, our family takes great comfort in our hearts knowing that our Dad and Mom are together again, and we will someday soon be reunited with them both.
