First day of school: Aug. 14 for grades 1-12, Aug. 16 for kindergarten.
Open house
Kindergarten: Aug. 14-15. Teachers will call and schedule a time to meet with individual parents and students approximately one week before.
1st grade: Aug. 8. A drop-in open house for first-grade students and parents will be held from 4-6 p.m.
2nd, 3rd grade: Aug. 10. Parents will be contacted by the school approximately one week before with times.
4th, 5th grade: Aug. 10. A drop-in open house for fourth- and fifth-grade students and parents will be held from 4:30-6 p.m.
6th grade: Aug. 9. A drop-in open house for sixth-grade students and parents will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
7th grade: Aug. 8. A drop-in open house for seventh-grade students and parents will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
8th grade: Aug. 10. A drop-in open house for eighth-grade students and parents will be held from 5:30-7 p.m.
9th grade: Aug. 7-10. Ninth-grade students and parents can pick up schedules, update demographic information, and go on a self-guided school tour from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. each day.
10th grade and new to district 11th/12th grade: 10th-grade students and any new to the district 11th- or 12th-grade students will attend “Wolf Welcome” from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 2 or Aug. 3. Visit http://www.lhsd.info/wolf-welcome-23 for more info and to register.
11th Grade: Aug. 1. Returning 11thgrade students may pick up schedules and parking passes on Aug. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
12th Grade: July 31. Returning 12thgrade students may pick up schedules and parking passes on July 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
New Horizons: Aug. 10. A drop-in open house will be held for New Horizons students and parents from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 3 p.m.
New student registration: New student registration is taking place for the 202324 school year. During the month of July, students may register at the Lake Hamilton Administration Complex, 205 Wolf St., Pearcy. Registration hours during July are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Friday, 8:30-11 a.m. In August and during the school year, new students will register in the main office for each school.
The following items are required at the time of registration: Proof of birth, current immunization (shot) record, student’s Social Security number (or school will furnish a number), proof of residence in Lake Hamilton School District (current Entergy or water bill with service location address), Or proof of approved School Choice transfer.
