A fitting end to a perfect league run.

After claiming its third outright Foothill League title in as many seasons, West Ranch completed its third perfect league campaign sweeping Golden Valley 18-0 on Thursday at Golden Valley.

The Wildcats (16-1 overall, 10-0 Foothill League) have won 30 straight league matches.

Jake Anderson and Charlie Spina each won two sets in singles, while Ruben Banerjee swept his opponents. Davey Woodland (No. 1) and Parker McBride (No. 2) both won a set before being subbed out.

Doubles pairings Justin Lin and Jake Hettinger (No. 1), Quincy Walter-Eze and Justin Garcia (No. 2) and Aristo Turalakey and Nikhil Bhumralkar (No. 3) were also perfect against Golden Valley (4-12, 1-9).

Valencia 11, Hart 7

The Vikings went perfect in doubles play to claim second in league. The Indians won seven sets in singles play, but it wasn’t enough for them to claim third place from Saugus.

No. 1 single Sam Delgado and No. 3 single Zack Killian both swept their opponents for Hart (6-12, 4-6).

Valencia improved to 12-7 overall and 8-2 in league.

Saugus 12, Canyon 6

The Centurions No. 1 doubles, Ryan Bannerman and Gerard Elepano, and No. 2 pairing, Anthony Miller and James Phan, swept in doubles en route to securing a third-place finish.

Canyon’s No. 2 single David Preciado swept his side, while Alex Koek won two sets for Saugus (11-6, 6-4).

The Cowboys finished 3-13 overall and 1-9 in league.
