On Tuesday, July 19, 2016 Teresa Butlin passed away and is now in the arms of our Lord. She was born on May 2, 1934 in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

Teresa had a remarkable life. She was ERUQ LQ D SULPLWLYH YLOODJH EXW ¿JXUHG out a way as a teenager to move to the exciting city of New York. She lived WKHUH IRU \HDUV XQWLO VKH IXO¿OOHG KHU dream of moving to California.

It was here she had her two children, Debbie Porter and Joseph Dorack. In spite of knowing little English she was able to secure a job with Sav-On Drug store where she worked for 31 years. It was here she met the love of her life, Paul Butlin.

Together they lived an idyllic and romantic life. They moved to the quaint town of Nipomo on the Central Coast of California. They were able to travel considerab­ly and particular­ly enjoyed Hawaii and Mexico. Since Paul owned his own plane they would regularly enjoy lunches and weekends in Catalina, San Diego, Wyoming and many other wonderful destinatio­ns.

Teresa loved spending time with her family and her beloved pets, Jasmin and Destiny. She was a devoted Catholic and dedicated her life to her faith and our Savior, Lord Jesus Christ.
