1951-2016

William Arthur Speer III passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016 in a car accident while on his way to work. Bill was born on July 30, 1951 in Hugo, OK. He married Debroah “Debbie” Leanean Caldwell in September of 1968.

Bill was a devoted and successful owner of Morgan’s Shoe Repair for 30 years in Lancaster, CA, as well as the Red Wing Shoe Repair in Oxnard, CA for 10 years.

A devoted family man, Bill opened his home and his heart to all who entered it. He always put others before himself and was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back. There are many who would consider him a IDWKHUO\ RU JUDQGIDWKHUO\ ¿JXUH EHFDXVH of the impact he made on their lives. A lover of corny jokes and playful banter, Bill always had a smile on his face. He is a perfect example of how people from Oklahoma are ‘OK’.
