L.Y.T.E. of Santa Clarita Performs at Ghostbusters Premier
The new Ghostbusters Movie premiered on July 9. My dance studio L.Y.T.E. danced an
Incredible hip hop number at this event. L.Y.T.E. (on Diamond Place in Santa Clarita) stands for Live Your Truth Every day and is a studio that promotes an inspirational environment. Co-owners Tawnya and Will McCoy are always encouraging you to take risks to be a better dancer and person. This premier was a perfect example. We were sent a video with the choreography by Dondraco. I was stressed out and didn’t think I could learn it before the rehearsal and show. Tawya was so supportive that I changed my mind! We had a special rehearsal at the studio then rehearsed at Liv’art Dance Studio in North Hollywood.

made me reach outside my comfort zone. We were given a Ghostbusters onesie, and killed it on the red carpet with our hip hop. This event was very exciting and enjoyable. T-shirts were thrown into the crowd as celebrities walked down the red carpet. The crowd went wild.
Leslie Jones, Kate Mc Kinnon, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig and Chris Hemsworth were all there rocking their best outfits with smiles on their faces. Ms. Jones, and I quote, said to my friend, “Hi baby, how you doing?” and kissed him on the cheek. He was jumping with joy for about an hour. The stars were cheerful and kind while giving out autographs to the crowd.
The movie was extremely funny and enjoyable just like the rest of the series and got everyone to laugh at some point. The film was about how the paranormal had been released once again in
New York by someone just like thirty years ago in the original film, but this time a new team answers the calls.
