Lucille Marie Beeler

1924 - 2016

On the morning of Thanksgiving, November 24, 2016 Lucille Marie Beeler passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home. She was born November 6, 1924.

Lucy graduated from Central High School in Sioux City, IA. She graduated from Pierce Junior College in Los Angeles, CA with an A.A. degree and UHFHLYHG WKH ¿UVW DZDUG RI PHULW LQ DUW that the college had ever given. She also got her B.A. from CSUN, California State University Northridge. Lucy was an art teacher at Sepulveda Junior High School. She loved being an art teacher and was an amazing artist.

Lucy loved spending time with her family and cherished all the holidays together. She loved nature and enjoyed capturing it in her art pieces. Lucy loved to sparkle, and that she sure did ~she left glitter in all that she touched. Everyone will miss her amazing smile and shoulder up grin. “Kiss, kiss!”

She is survived by her son Terry Beeler; daughter Marsha Thomas; grandchildren: David Beeler, Jennifer Burton, Carrie Phillips and Dustin Thomas; great-grandchildren: Brittany Dougherty, Brooklyn Beeler, Blake Beeler, Ashley Burton, Alyssa Burton, Trent Phillips, Jake Phillips and Caleb Thomas; great-greatgrandchild Payten Dougherty.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 9440 Balboa Blvd., Northridge, CA 91325. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Oakwood Memorial Park, 22601 Lassen St., Chatsworth, CA 91311.
