The Signal

Today in history

-

Today is Tuesday, October 10, the 283rd day of 2017 and the 19th day of autumn.

On this date in the SCV: In 1935, The Signal reported that the Rattlesnake Patrol of Troop 2 went to San Diego as an award for their high rank in the Council Camporal. Over 3000 boys were camped on the school grounds next to the The California Pacific International Exposition, making an impressive sight. The boys were given free admission to the Exposltlon at all times, and prices were lowered to scouts. Needless to say they had a great time and returned late, sleepy but happy.
