At the center of the case is femme fatale Mona, a nightclub singer who captures Charlie’s affections – and suspicions.

SCV Transit One-Day Service to Knott’s Berry Farm

Returns to Santa Clarita at 5:30 p.m. Regular fare is $3.00 each way. $1.50 each way for seniors and persons with disabiliti­es. Santa Clarita veterans and residents can board Santa Clarita Transit for a patriotic ride to Knott’s Berry Farm in celebratio­n of the park’s Military Tribute Days. The Park offers free admission to all active, retired and veteran U.S. military personnel, plus one guest. Veterans will be required to present military ID or proof of U.S. military service to receive compliment­ary admission to the park. Passengers under 12 years of age must be accompanie­d by an adult.

Elks Black Jack Toy Run for Veterans Children

Saturday, November 11, 9 a.m. 4 p.m. Pre-Registrati­on: $25 for drivers, $20 for each rider. Fees include lunch. Price increases by $5 on day of the event. Your participat­ion in this fundraiser will bring smiles and joy to Veterans’ children with toys donated by participan­ts. Distributi­on of toys will be made through Habitat for Humanity and other organizati­ons. Toy Run starts in Burbank for breakfast, SunlandTuj­unga, San Fernando and finishing in Santa Clarita for lunch. Each participan­t is requested to bring in an unwrapped toy worth $10 or more. This is a ‘No Colors’ event.
