Chamber adds four new board members
After recently naming Nancy Starczyk as 2019 chairwoman, the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce has named an additional four new board members for the coming year, officials announced Friday.
“Every year we have board members that rotate and we are always looking for new members to offer fresh thoughts on business issues and advocacy,” said John Musella, president of the public relations company, the Musella Group, which manages the SCV Chamber.
The four incoming individuals will join a pool of 25 other board members. They are: Corrine Barchanowicz, senior general manager of the Westfield Valencia Town Center; G. Jesse Smith, associate vice president and chief operating officer of California Institute of the Arts; Chris Schrage, commercial risk control specialist and account executive at LBW Insurance Financial Services, and John Vance, owner and founder of Vance Wealth.
The new board members will commence their terms on Jan. 1, according to a chamber news release. Starczyk, alongside the full board, will be ceremonially installed during the chamber’s 96th Annual Awards and Installation Gala scheduled for Jan. 25.
