Fresh Per­spec­tives at SCAA Gallery

What: Santa Clarita Artists As­so­ci­a­tion (SCAA) an­nounces a grand re-open­ing with a re­cep­tion. The ex­hibit en­ti­tled Fresh Per­spec­tives runs un­til Feb 24; show­cases the artists and their new­est art­work. The re­cep­tion is free to the pub­lic; wine and ap­pe­tiz­ers will be served. Gallery win­ter hours are: Fri­days 5-8 p.m., Satur­days 2-8 p.m., and Sun­days 11 a.m. -5 p.m.

Los An­ge­les County’s foster care pop­u­la­tion ex­ceeds 21,000 chil­dren with 200 foster chil­dren wait­ing to be con­nected to a fam­ily who will adopt. Chil­dren’s Bureau of­fers a com­pre­hen­sive foster care and adop­tion pro­gram that brings fam­i­lies to­gether for a life­time. Brit­tany Foun­da­tion Dog Adop­tion Events

What: The Brit­tany Foun­da­tion Sanc­tu­ary & Dog Res­cue shows our adopt­able dogs at the PetS­mart Na­tional Adop­tion Week­end events held four times a year in Steven­son Ranch. Ad­di­tional dogs from our Sanc­tu­ary can be viewed on our web­site. The Brit­tany Foun­da­tion is cur­rently sched­uled to be at PetS­mart every third Satur­day of the month with more dogs that need for­ever homes.
