Cheese and Beer Pairing at Telco Brewery What: Telco Brewery is collaborating with Santa Clarita’s Cheese Consultant, Corry De Robertis also known as “That Cheesemaker Guy,” who has created a perfect pairing of his favorite artisanal cheeses from around the world with Telco’s craft beers. Participants will come away with several solid beer pairings in their vocabulary as well as the knowledge to make excellent pairing choices in the future. One-Woman Show and Artist Reception at Canyon Theatre Guild What: The public is invited to an artist’s reception at the Canyon Theatre Guild. Awardwinning local artist Bonny Butler presents a one-woman show from March 30 to April 29. The exhibit titled “Dreaming In Color” includes a series of exquisite alcohol ink and encaustic wax paintings. “I always loved creating art, but raising a family took me in a different direction,” Butler said. After her family was grown, she returned to art, her first love, first with watercolors and Chinese brush, and currently with alcohol inks and encaustic wax. She explores, creates and relishes the ever-changing outcomes and spontaneity of her mediums. Her whimsical, loose-style paintings — now exhibited around the world — range from blooms and gardens, to expressive landscapes, to abstracts, and the occasional portrait of people and pets.
