The event is scheduled to take place at the Henry Mayo Fitness and Health Center.

Running from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fitness and Health Center, located at 24525 Town Center Drive, in Valencia, the event aims to help attendees learn the best ways to protect themselves from the sun’s harmful effects.

“DermaScans can serve as great starting points for monitoring skin health, and can also provide an opportunity to begin a conversation with a doctor,” hospital officials said in a news release Monday.
