“BEEHIVE: The 60s Musical”

The Canyon Theatre Guild presents a rockin’ tribute to the music and female singers of the 1960s. Follow eight women as they bring to life their memories of the music that shaped them. This jukebox musical includes hit songs from every genre, including, “My Boyfriend’s Back,” “To Sir With Love,” “Respect” and “Proud Mary.” The show pays tribute to every female singer, from iconic girl groups like the Supremes to legendary solo artists like Janis Joplin. City Hall Art Reception 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24

First Floor Gallery at City Hall, 23920 Valencia Blvd., Santa Clarita

A group show titled “Storytelli­ng” is on display through March 3. The art on display invites the viewer into the storytelli­ng process of the creation of art. The featured artists have created a story that tells more about the subject matter or inspiratio­n for their work, providing the audience with a deeper understand­ing of the art. You can join the city for an evening to discuss the featured artwork and get to know the artists behind the unique pieces at this free reception.

St. Clare’s 45th Annual Lenten Fish Fry

St. Clare’s Lenten Fish Fries are back with indoor and outdoor dining available, as well as take-out. The cost is $15 for twopiece dinner or tacos; $16 for three-piece dinner. A family pack is available for $55, which includes 10 pieces of fish, two sides, and rolls, coleslaw and condiments. Cash, check, or credit cards are accepted. Santa Clarita Master Chorale: ‘Jukebox Saturday Night’

The Santa Clarita Master Chorale invites the community to an elegant evening of wine, dinner and song at the organizati­on’s annual Cabaret & Cabernet benefit, “Jukebox Saturday Night.” You can begin your evening with appetizers and a cash bar and bid on a wide variety of silent auction items from donors’ private offerings and favorite Santa Clarita Valley vendors. You can purchase raffle tickets for a seven-day cruise to your choice of the Caribbean or the Mexican Riviera. Raffle tickets are $25 each or five for $100 and the winner need not be present. 13th Annual Mardi Gras Madness 5k/10k

This will be the 13th Annual Mardi Gras Madness 5k/10k and it will be hosted by UCLA Health, Santa Clarita Track Club and Westfield Valencia. Bridge to Home’s Soup for the Soul

Bridge to Home has announced that its Soup for the Soul event is returning to a live audience. The Soul for the Soul fundraiser will feature a formal sit-down dinner, live entertainm­ent, an auction and informatio­n on Bridge to Home’s services and fundraisin­g efforts. The funds raised at the event are used to support year-round services and programs for those in the Santa Clarita Valley who are vulnerable to homelessne­ss.
