Winter storms brought rain to the Santa Clarita Valley, but according to the state Department of Water Resources, California is not out of the drought yet. Whether above-average Sierra snowpack is enough to overcome three years of extreme drought remains to be seen. At “Water Matters: After the Storms,” SCV Water conservati­on and water planning staff will share the impact of the recent storms on the local water supply. Free live virtual webinar. St. Clare’s 45th Annual Lenten Fish Fry

St. Clare’s Lenten Fish Fries are back with indoor and outdoor dining available, as well as take-out. The cost is $15 for twopiece dinner or tacos; $16 for three-piece dinner. A family pack is available for $55, which includes 10 pieces of fish, two sides, and rolls, coleslaw and condiments. Cash, check, or credit cards are accepted. All In for Family Promise: Poker Night, Pinot & Paint

Food and drinks available from 6 p.m., cards fly at 7 p.m. Registrati­on $100 per person, initial buy-in and add-ons are available. Also, a Paint and Pinot event will run simultaneo­usly for nonpoker players. The $25 entry includes a profession­al team of artists to provide step-by-step instructio­ns to reproduce a pre-selected work of art while participan­ts enjoy wine, beer, or mocktails. Project Linus ‘Make a Blanket Day’

The community is invited to participat­e in the ninth semi-annual Project Linus Make a Blanket Day. Project Linus is a nonprofit organizati­on that gives blankets to children in need. Project Linus asks that those who attend this event should bring a fleece. Each childsized blanket consists of antipill, blizzard or polar fleece no longer than 1.5 yards. If you cannot stay for the event, Project Linus will accept completed blankets from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m.

Saugus High School Softball Cornhole Fundraiser
