Temple Beth Ami Movie Night

Temple Beth Ami is hosting a movie night at the Laemmle featuring “The Forger,” a 2022 “biographic­al drama based on the life of Cioma Schönhaus, a Jewish graphic artist who forged documents to help hundreds of people escape the Nazis during World War II. The film follows his daring exploits as he evades capture, falls in love, and enjoys life despite the horrors around him,” according to Filmfanati­c. org. St. Clare’s 45th Annual Lenten Fish Fry

St. Clare’s Lenten Fish Fries are back with indoor and outdoor dining available, as well as take-out. The cost is $15 for twopiece dinner or tacos; $16 for three-piece dinner. A family pack is available for $55, which includes 10 pieces of fish, two sides, and rolls, coleslaw and condiments. Cash, check, or credit cards are accepted. City’s Youth Arts Showcase

The city of Santa Clarita seeks local youth and student artists to submit entries for the seventh annual Youth Arts Showcase. Young artists are invited to submit an original work for a chance to be showcased during the event. The submission deadline is Friday, March 13. The annual Youth Arts Showcase celebrates the creativity of Santa Clarita Valley’s youth and students who display their talents in many discipline­s. Attendees will enjoy visual and performing arts, handson craft stations, youth art contests, the Youth Arts Gallery, arts education, food trucks and more. American Cancer Society’s Bark for Life

Join the fun and bring your dog to the American Cancer Society’s fundraiser, Bark for Life, presented by Relay for Life of Santa Clarita Valley. The “paws-itively” festive event honors and celebrates the healing role that dogs serve as companions who relieve stress and elevate mood. The day will be filled with music, vendors, a photo booth, games, contests (including costumes and bobbing for hot dogs), and raffles. Bark for Life is a nationwide event for ACS and a kickoff for Relay for Life of SCV. Inperson registrati­on begins at 9:30 a.m. Registrati­on includes a free goody bag.
