True, Phyllida Spotte-hume is brilliant, beautiful, and has discovered a legendary Lost City, but the decision to let a woman into the fraternity could shake the very foundation of the British Empire. Written by Tonynomina­ted playwright Nell Benjamin, “The Explorers Club” received the 2013-2014 Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstandin­g Off-broadway Play. Finally Family Homes partners with college-aged foster youth to help them achieve lasting success in life. FFH helps provide for their basic needs, such as food, clothing, toiletries and housing, so they can focus on working toward their goals. Shoe Drive-thru Fundraiser

The Hart High School Parent Organizati­on is having a fundraiser by collecting your gently used shoes. The funds will go to a teachers’ appreciati­on luncheon, help buy necessary P.E. weight room equipment, scholarshi­ps for the Hart seniors, and other school items that Hart students may need. Start in your family’s closets and gather pairs of shoes that you’ve outgrown, are out of style, or out of season. These shoes will help support the Hart programs as well as individual­s in developing nations like Ghana, Haiti and Cambodia. You can drive through to donate in front of Hart High School.

Michael Hoefflin Foundation Walk for Kids with Cancer

Mental Health Hookup Hosts ‘Stop the Stigma’
