‘Holiday Lights of Gring’s Mill’ returns for December

Come visit Berks County’s favorite park decorated for the holidays between 6 and 9 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays in December. Walk through the serene country setting with thousands of lights illuminati­ng the park landscapin­g and historic buildings. Warm up in the barn to live entertainm­ent each night , visit with Santa or stop by the popular model train display. Refreshmen­ts and snacks will be available.

On Dec. 4, from 3 to 5 p.m. there will be a Live Broadcast with WEEU 830 AM and music by Naelee Rae. On the same day, between 6 to 9 p.m., Santa will arrive and there will be music f rom Mount Laurel Brass.

The entertainm­ent schedule for the other evenings will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Entertainm­ent includes Beverly McDevitt & Michael Trach ( Dec. 5), “Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother” with Kits Interactiv­e Theatre ( Dec. 6, shows at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.), Kendal Conrad (Dec. 9), Pagoda Brass ( Dec. 10) and the Joy Soltysik Band ( Dec. 11).

On Dec. 6, there will be a free Kids Holiday Workshop and Sing Along with Butch Imhoff of the Acoustic Roadshow from 1 to 4 p.m.

“Holiday Lights of Gring’s Mill” is presented by the Berks County Parks and Recreation Department.
