And then it was three weeks before Christmas, and all through WTIM land, everyone was practicing, yes, every last band. The venues are beckoning with shiny bright lights, hoping to lure us for yet another long night. Hope the weather keeps holding, especially the snow, ‘ till we can decide just where the heck we should go. Then we’ll dash away, dash away, into the night, and land somewhere awesome to hear music done right!
Alright, enough of the prose stuff. WTIM friends Kim & Paul, Monkey Bizzness, Big Daddy & The Fender Benders, DJ Gary Wiley, Chestnut Grove, Whiskeyhickon Boys and Go Commando are all on the docket this time. Couple special mentions... THE LA Guns are going to be at Blackjax Centerstage this week; if you are a Guns fan this is going to be an awesome show. NEXT WEEK, our friends Chestnut Grove along with The Whiskeyhickon Boys will be playing the Sellersville Theater. If I had a choice of going to only one show this month, it would probably be this one! Chestnut Grove’s lead singer Dee sums it up best when she says: “Yeah, it’s kind of a big deal.” We think it’s a big deal too! Get out there and support our local music!
