“It is our mission at Studio B to promote the artists,” said Studio B director Susan Biebuyck. “This is another opportunity for the many talented people who have graced our walls to exhibit and for us to cel- ebrate their artistic accomplishments.”

“Even in tough economic times, art is an investment gift. It brings joy and hope to both the giver and the receiver,” Biebuyck noted. The gallery is located at 39 E. Philadelphia Ave. in Boyertown, PA. Please visit studiobbb.org for more information.

In addition to “Watch Us Sparkle,” seven emerging artists will be featured in the classroom gallery in an exhibit entitled “The Soul of Art,” coordinated by Maggie Bucci and Kate Wasson, who interned at Studio B as part of their field experiences as Kutztown University art majors.

Bucci offers the exhibit’s mission, saying, “The artists seek to capture the spirit and soul of art making while striving to give their artwork a life of its own. Their work is based on a deeply personal connection with art making as an expression of one’s inner self and the manner in which they interpret the world round them,” she continued. “This collection of works captures the ‘soul’ of art,” she concluded.

Participating in “The Soul of Art” are Elizabeth Gibson, Tyler Seisler, Jessica Caples, Melinda Ben- son, Emily Thayler, Kate Wasson, and Maggie Bucci. Various media including collage, drawing, painting, fiber art, metals, and ceramics will be presented. About Studio B Studio B, located in the
