BOYS BASKETBALL

The Daniel Boone High School boys basketball team fell to 0-2 in the Berks League and 0-5 overall after losing to Wilson on Dec. 21, 75-36. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 17-5 lead after one quarter,then expanded the lead to 21 points by halftime, 34-13. Ian Rathgeb led the Daniel Boone offense with nine points in the contest. Joey Moyer contribute­d with eight points and Tyler Dorang added six.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

The Daniel Boone High School girls basketball team split a pair of games last week and is 1-1 in the Berks League and 2-4 overall.

On Dec. 17, the Lady Blazers traveled to Muhlenberg and came home with a 35-29 victory. The Muhjls led at halftime, 16-14, but Boone outscored its hosts in the third quarter, 7-4, and in the fourth quarter, 14-9.

Kaitlyn Keeley was high scorer for Boone with 10 points. Sydney Hayes was right behind her with nine points and Emily Houck had eight.

On Dec. 21, the Lady Blazers lost to Wilson, 36-26. The Bulldogs led by two after one quarter, then outscored Boone in the second quarter, 11-3. Keeley was high scorer once again for Boone with nine points. Sydney Hayes scored seven, while Alayna Roesener and Madison Spitko each had four.

WRESTLING

The Daniel Boone High School improved to 1-1 in the Berks League and 2-3 overall after de- feating Conrad Weiser on Dec. 19, 49-24. Winning by pins for Boone were: Brenden Valverde (195); Cinque Ramsey (220), 0:14; Luke Cable (126); Owen Powell (138); and Joey Yohn (145). Jack Zummo (132) won by a major decision, 10-0. Dylan Hirchak (182) and Samuel Zummo (113).

BOYS BOWLING

The Daniel Boone High School boys bowling team fell to 6-6 in the Berks League after losing to Governor Mifflin on Dec. 21, 3-0. Ethan Resh ws high roller for Daniel Boone with a three-game series of 670. Nick Charles bowled

a 593 series.

GIRLS BOWLING

The Daniel Boone High School girls bowling team was blanked by Governor Mifflin on Dec. 21, 3- 0. Lauren Marley bowled a three-game series of 580 to lead the Lady Blazers. Lizzy Rooney bowled a 540 series.

Exeter BOYS BASKETBALL

The Exeter Township High School boys basketball team is 0-2 in the Berks League and 2-6
