Family Yoga Classes: Tuesdays through Aug. 16, 10 a.m. 45 minute yoga class for children with a guardian. Bring appropriat­e clothing, a water bottle and a mat or towel. Ages 4 and older. Registrati­on required.

Zentangle Classes with Kris Kennedy: June 29 and July 27, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Zentangle is an easy to learn, relaxing and fun style of drawing in struc- tured patterns. Free. Teens and adults welcome. Registrati­on required.

What Color is Calm? A Night of Coloring for Adults: Thursdays, June 30, July 28 and Aug. 25, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Join the group for a relaxing evening of coloring. Free. Registrati­on suggested. Supplies provided or bring your own.

Traditiona­l Hatha Yoga Class: Saturdays, July 9, 16 and 30, from 1-2 p.m. Sue Siegrist of Tula Yoga Center will teach the class. Free. Must register due to limited space.

Announceme­nts

Garden Club: Pottstown Area Garden Club welcomes amateurs interested in all aspects of gardening. Meetings are held the first Friday of every month at St. James Lutheran Church, 1101 E. High St., Pottstown at 11:30 a.m. Contact 610-327-2235.

Birdsboro Rotary: Birdsboro Rotary Club meets 6:30 p.m. every Thursday at the Reading Country Club, 5311 Perkiomen Ave, Reading.

Pagoda Writers: The Pagoda Writers group gets together from 1 to 3 p.m. the first Saturday of every month on the second floor of the Pagoda, 98 Duryea Dr., Reading.

Stitching Circle: The Mifflin Community Library’s Evening Stitching Circle meets every Monday from 6:30-8 p.m., and the Afternoon Stitching Circle meets every Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. New members are always welcome and should bring their own materials. There are currently between 12-15 members who sew, knit and crochet. The group works on personal projects as well as service projects to benefit the community. Come join in loads of fun & stitching!

Writers group: Miff lin Writers Group continues to meet the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of the month from 6:30-8 p.m. Mifflin Writers Group is composed of writers of all genres and levels of experience. Their purpose is to motivate, inspire, instruct, inform, share and critique each other in their writing efforts in a free flowing and relaxed atmosphere. Come get writing! Most programs encourage pre-registrati­on and take place downstairs at the Mifflin Community Library unless otherwise noted.
