Local resident to lead chapter of State CPA Association
Stephanie E. Kane, a certified public accountant (CPA), was elected president of the Reading Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) for the 20182019 fiscal year.
Kane is a manager in the tax services group of RKL LLP in Wyomissing, Pa., where she specializes in nonprofit and pass-through entity tax reporting. Kane serves on the PICPA Reading Chapter Community Engagement, Emerging CPAs, Holiday Benefit Luncheon, and Nominations committees. Outside of the PICPA, Kane serves on the board of Berks Connections Pretrial Services. She is also an alum and former president of Leadership Berks Class of 2015, and is a founding board member and past president of Happy 2 Be Home.
Kane, a resident of Douglassville, received her bachelor’s degree in accounting at York College of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude.
