Police responded to a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning at Route 100 and Cedarville Road.

Northbound Route 100 was blocked for more than an house after the 10 a.m. crash between a minivan and a stake body truck.

A police investigation determined that the minivan, driven by Tammy Ferguson, of Douglassville, was traveling eastbound on West Cedarville Road toward Route 100 when the vehicle failed to stop at a red traffic light at the intersection.

As the minivan entered the four-way intersection, it was struck on the driver’s side door by the front by a landscaping truck driven by Joseph Anthony of Reading, police said.

The impact caused the minivan to overturn and come to rest on its roof, police said.

Both drivers were evaluated at the scene by Goodwill Ambulance personnel. No injuries were reported at the time of the crash, police said.

Both vehicle’s sustained major damage and had to be towed from the scene.

Police issued a citation to Ferguson for failure to obey traffic-control signals, according to a post on the department’s website.

North Coventry Township Police were assisted at the scene by Norco Fire Company and Norco Fire Police.
