Po­lice seek ID of pizze­ria bur­glary sus­pect

Amity Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing af­ter a sus­pect broke into a lo­cal pizze­ria and made off with money from a tip jar and the cash reg­is­ter.

Po­lice said the bur­glary oc­curred at Oliv­e­rio’s Pizza, 101 Park Lane, Dou­glassville, dur­ing the overnight hours on Sun­day, Oct. 7, 2018.

The sus­pect made en­try into the busi­ness by us­ing a rock to smash out the glass on the front door. Once in­side, the sus­pect took the cash reg­is­ter drawer and a tip jar. The sus­pect ap­peared to be wear­ing a hoodie, glasses, gloves and a shirt tied around his/her face.

Any­one with in­for­ma­tion on the bur­glary or who can iden­tify the sus­pect is asked to sub­mit an anony­mous tip to Crime Alert Berks County.
