Daniel Boone Homestead hosts Christkindlmarket
The Friends of the Daniel Boone Homestead will be holding its third annual Christkindlmarket at the Daniel Boone Homestead on Dec. 7 and 8 from 4 to 9 p.m.
The site will be decorated with Christmas lights and greens and will feature local crafters selling their hand-crafted wares, concessions, wine tasting, raffles, warming fires and traditional holiday music, plus a visit from St. Nicklaus and Krampus. A German Christmas, as seen through the eyes of the DeTurk family, will delight visitors as they visit the historic house.
Admission is $7 per adult; 12 and under are free.
The Daniel Boone Homestead is located at 400 Daniel Boone Road, Exeter Township, right off Route 422 east.
