Exeter boys fall in final of Wyomissing tournament
EXETER 58, LANCASTER MENNONITE 42 >> At Wyomissing Dec. 27, Alex Javier and Anthony Wise each had 13 points and Wesley Murray added 11 as the Eagles (4-2) pulled away from the Blazers (0-3) in the second half of their Wyomissing Holiday Tournament openinground game.
Tournament MVP Mikai Washington scored 21 points, including 15-for-16 from the free-throw line, to lead the Muhls (7-1) past the

57>> At Millersville Dec. 26, Chaunce Johnson and Logan Hinkle were the scoring stars for the Blazers in their opening-round game of the Crossover Showcase at Millersville University.
Johnson led Boone with 15 points. Hinkle was a close second with 14. Jared Tranovich added 12 points for Daniel Boone. Joe O’Malley had 21 points for Bishop Shanahan.

EXETER 39, SCHUYLKILL VALLEY 37 >> At Wyomissing Dec. 27, Jordan Davis made a layup with 3.8 seconds left to lift the Eagles (5-3) past the Panthers (1-7) in the first round of the Wyomissing Holiday Tournament.
Cassidy Rittenhouse had tied it at 37-37 for SV with a 3-pointer with 15 seconds left. Morgan Truckermiller had 12 points and Kelly Fetter 11 to lead Exeter. Julia Kowalski scored 13 and Anna Brzostek 11 for the Panthers. DELONE CATHOLIC 47, GOV.
MIFFLIN 40 >> Delone Catholic rallied in the second half to win over the Mustangs on the opening day of the Boyertown holiday tournament. Stella Mollica had 14 points for Mifflin(6-2).
GOV. MIFFLIN 54, EXETER 25 >> The Mustangs shot out to a 30-3 lead after Connor Harr (152), John Arentz (160) and Jake Blanski (170) scored first-period pins.
Jordan Espinosa (285), Joseph Irizarry (120), Cole Lang (126) and Devin Simpson (132) also pinned for Mifflin (3-0, 5-3).
Exeter (1-2) was led by Robert Unruh (major at 220), Joseph Asterino (pin at 106), Jevin Guldin (pin at 113) and Nicholas Nettleton (pin at 138).
