Sweet Treats, Good Eats...Only at the Oley Fair!
This year marks the 73rd anniversary of the Oley Fair, held Sept. 19 to 21.
The Oley Valley Community Fair promotes good friendly competition among the many friends and neighbors of the surrounding Oley area. Each year you can see a wide variety of local products from the farm and home that are entered in many different categories. In 2018 our fair had 5,706 entries with a total premium distribution of $23,413.50. This is just an example of what kind of money can be won at the Oley Fair by exhibitors, both the young and the more experienced.
The Oley Fair is also known for its famous French fries, hamburgers and much much more. Come out to the Oley Fair and smell that famous good Dutch cooking aroma in the air. It will make you want to keep coming back for more. The real secret is that 21 of the area churches and their congregations help prepare and serve this wonderful home style food. You will not find any food vendors or midways at this fair.
Come out and experience the Oley Fair. If you are one of the many thousands that come each year, we invite you to bring a friend. No matter if you’re a first timer or have been at all the fairs, you will remember the experience for a long time.
The Oley Valley Community Fair will be held at the Oley Fire Company Fairgrounds, 26 Jefferson Street, Oley, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Free admission with a $5 parking fee.
