Carnival of Lights brings holiday fun back starting Nov. 26
NORTH COVENTRY » A delicious cup of hot chocolate and a fresh-baked cookie or a fresh-made s’more over an open fire will warm your soul as you witness the spectacular 250,000 light display. Thirty-foottall lighted trees and animated figurines all dancing in time to your favorite Holiday music.
Want to turn it up a notch? Take unlimited rides on the brightly decorated amusement rides, included with admission. Ride the pony carts, the Round Up, or the 60-foottall Ferris Wheel with over 10,000 lights, or take a walk through the Gingerbread Ice Castle.
The Carnival of Lights has something for all ages.
In addition to hot chocolate, cookies and s’mores, guests can also enjoy gourmet hot dogs, pizza, funnel cakes, fried Oreo’s and cotton candy will also be available. A chance to win a prized stuffed animal or some candy will satisfy your inner child as we celebrate the season together. Be sure to bring your Christmas list and visit with Santa himself on select nights.
The Carnival of Lights also has a Christmas Marketplace offering beautiful homemade Holiday crafts for that impossible person to shop for.
New this year, The “One Day Early New Years celebration,” held Thursday, Dec. 30, will feature a huge fireworks display at closing time.
“Although we will be open on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, we wanted to have our celebration at a time when everyone could come out and enjoy the celebration,” said General Manager Bill George. “We just didn’t want to compete with those family traditions, however, we hope to become one of those traditions from here on out.”
There is not an extra cost for the “One Day Early New Year’s Celebration.”
Tickets can be purchased in advance by visiting the website, or at the gate when you arrive. The Carnival of Lights will be held at the Norco Fire Company at 114 W. Schuylkill Road. The fun begins Nov. 26 and runs through January 1, 2022.
