Celebrate the joys of Christmas at Glick’s Greenhouse Poinsettia Show in Oley
Free event features Christmas-themed displays and a sea of poinsettias
OLEY » The joys of Christmas will be on full display at Glick’s Greenhouse for the annual Poinsettia Show, set for Dec. 3 and 4 and Dec. 6 to 11 from 1 to 7 p.m.
“The show originally started 44 years ago when Dave Glick (owner and founder) wanted to share with the community the beauty of thousands of poinsettias,” said Anna Glick, sales manager at Glick’s Greenhouse. “Since then, we have grown our show to create Christmas themes with detailed displays, but always trying to maintain our roots of showcasing the amazing sight of a sea of poinsettias!”
This year’s show highlights include brand new displays and layout in the Glick’s newly built greenhouses, live music and complimentary refreshments.
“This year’s show is very special to us as we have been working hard to build our brand new greenhouses, and we want to dedicate this year as a thank you and celebration of the community that has made this possible,” she said. “From our family, our coworkers, our volunteers, our customers, and anyone else that has supported us and encouraged us through the years, we appreciate everyone and would never be where we are today without them!
“So we are celebrating all of the joy they have brought us by hopefully giving our community a bit of that joy back this year through our show!”
What draws people to this show every year is the variety.
“We try to make sure there is something for everyone to enjoy at the show,” Glick said. “From the unique displays set among thousands of poinsettias, to live music, to complimentary food and beverages, we aim to make our show an exciting event for all!”
Glick’s Greenhouse hopes the show offers a free event to the community for the holidays.
“Our Poinsettia Show is a free event that we have always loved having as a community experience,” she said. “It takes a village to make the show possible, but it is always worth it when we see friends and families from near and far coming

What makes the show worth the drive is the small-town charm of Glick’s Greenhouse.
“We are a small family business tucked away in Oley Valley, but that is part of the charm,” Glick said. “There is no better time than Christmas to be with family, friends and even strangers enjoying the beauty of the season that we try to portray with our show.”
