Dec. 19: The Rev. Christian McMullan will conduct the 8:00a.m. Holy Communion and the 10:15a.m. Praise services in the church. The fourth Sunday of Advent will be celebrated. All are welcome.

All church service attendees must wear a mask and practice social distancing of at least 6feet. We will not be singing as we are accustomed to. Please do not attend services if you feel sick. Weekly services are also offered online via the St. Luke’s Obelisk YouTube Channel. It is our hope and prayer that everyone stays safe and well during these difficult times.

Dec. 19: join us in the sanctuary for worship at 9:30a.m. on the fourth Sunday in Advent. We will celebrate this new season in the church year with the customary lighting of the Advent wreath. We are pleased to have member Ruth Nice share her message with us. Kathy Billger will lead the service. The sermon text for the day is Luke 1: 39-55. 46-And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked with favor on the lowliness of his servant. Surely, from now on all generation­s will call me blessed; for the Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name. A Congregati­onal Meeting for the purpose of electing Congregati­onal Council members will be held following the service.

All services will be livestream­ed: listen on 91.3FM, or watch as we livestream at stlukegilb­ertsville.org. Community Clothing Rack will be closed Dec. 22. It will reopen Dec.29for shoppers from 1to 4p.m. Masks and physical distancing are required. Enter through far door — sanitize hands. Four clients will enter with a 20minute shopping time limit. Eexit through hall door — again — sanitizing hands. Restrooms will not be available for client use.

Dec. 19: 7:45a.m. Pastor Matt will deliver the message; 10:20 a.m. Christmas Pageant. A recording of both services will be available online.

Dec. 24: Christmas Eve join us online or in person. Services will be held in the sanctuary at 4p.m., 7p.m., and 10p.m. A short outdoor service, The Meditation at the Manger, will be held at our manger scene off the back parking lot at 8:30p.m. We wish everyone a blessed Advent and Christmas Season. Dec. 16: 7p.m. we will be having our annual Longest Night service here at Trinity. It is a service of prayer and healing for all who have suffered trials, challenges, and losses this past year. I invite you to come and acknowledg­e the pain we all feel as we pray for healing for one another, especially at the end of this difficult year.

Reverse Advent Calendar: In cooperatio­n with the Boyertown Area Multi-Service, we will be collecting items needed for their Food Pantry during the Christmas Season until Dec. 24, drop off your items in the box in the Narthex.

Scout Troop 511 Hoagies: No Hoagie Sale in December.

WAWA Hoagie Coupons: Available 1st Sunday of the month at the Scrip Table and in the church office Monday to Thursday, 9a.m. to 2p.m. Tickets $4. This project benefits the Social Ministry.

PJ Project: donate gently used or new pajamas or sweatpants for children and adults, all sizes male and female. Place donation in the box in the Narthex.

In Ian’s Boots: donate used sporting equipment — used cleats, balls, pads, guards, gently used shoes and boots — to distribute to needy children and youth developmen­t programs both here and around the world.

Puzzles: borrow an assortment of puzzles in the cabinet labeled “Puzzles” in the Parish Hall.
