Twin Valley middle schoolers present a kid friendly show, ‘Wonderland!’
For the first time in more than 10 years there will be a musical performed at Twin Valley Middle School.
The middle school cast performs “Wonderland!,” a magical musical tale that follows Alice through the looking glass. Loosely based on Lewis Carrol’s timeless novel, “Wonderland!” is a kid friendly show that the whole family will enjoy. With singing, dancing, surprises and more, this kooky cast cannot wait to lead you down the rabbit hole to fun and adventure.
This production was made possible through the generosity of the Twin Valley Community Education Foundation, an organization that continuously gives back to the community and Twin Valley students via engagement opportunities, public events, and fundraisers. The revival of the Twin Valley Middle School musical was made possible through a grant provided by TVCEF, and has been a key factor in the director’s ability to facilitate the show.
“We have been able to create vibrant set pieces, obtain microphones, wardrobe pieces, and more through this grant,” said director Sarah Weaver. “TVCEF has been integral in helping our students feel a sense of normalcy throughout this difficult time, both on stage and in the classroom.”
Three performances of “Wonderland!” will take place at the Twin Valley Middle School auditorium on Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. and Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Tickets will be available at the door; $5 for general admission, $3 for TVSD students. The show will not be live streamed due to copyright laws.
