Trinity Church Community Cook-Off: 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Church of Boyertown, 250 Sweinhart Road, Boyertown. Eat for a donation or compete in four categories for $15. Feb. 5
Sock Hop: 6p.m. at Kissinger’s Church, 715 Berkshire Blvd., Wyomissing. Music of the 50s and 60s; Dave Reinwald will perform. Poodle skirts are welcome, but not necessary. Some fun surprises. Bring a snack or beverage to share. This is NOT a couples only event; everyone is welcome. Snow date is Feb. 19.

Sweetheart of a Bag Sale: 9 a.m. to 1p.m. at Exeter Community Library, 4569Prestwick Drive. Fill a bag $5. Books, puzzles, DVDs and CDs. Snow date Feb. 19.
WEEKLY EVENTS
Fit and Fabulous Wednesdays: 9 a.m. at Birdsboro Community Memorial Center. Exercise class for seniors to improve balance, strength, flexibility, and overall mobility while moving to music. Taught by a licensed physical therapist. Chairs provided. Exercises customized to fit ability. Free for members. Birdsboro Senior Group: meets the first and third Thursday of each month at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 5 Brooke Manor in Birdsboro. Doors open at 9 a.m. Anyone age 55 and older from the Birdsboro area welcome. Bingo on first Thursday and craft on third Thursday, both start at 9:30a.m. A home cooked meal is served at noon. Transportation is available if needed; call the church office at 610-582-8167to make arrangements.
