History Talk with Bob Wood “The Warming Fire:” 1 to 2 p.m. at Studio B Art Gallery, 39 A E. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown. Historian Bob Wood gives an illustrated talk on the development of enclosed heating stoves and smoke-free rooms in the Germanic region of early Europe and Pennsylvania.

Antietam Valley Community Partnership Annual Community Dinner: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Antietam High School Cafeteria. Choice of three dinners Golumpki, Chili and Kielbasa & Halushki. $10 per dinner. Container of Halushki $5. Pick-up only this year.

Safe Berks all-you-can-eat fundraising dinner: 5 to 8 p.m. at Wyomissing Restaurant & Bakery, 1245 Penn Ave. Food can be taken out or eaten in the dining room. All proceeds benefit Safe Berks. WEEKLY EVENTS

Fit and Fabulous Wednesdays: 9 a.m. at Birdsboro Community Memorial Center. Exercise class for seniors to improve balance, strength, flexibility, and overall mobility while moving to music. Taught by a licensed physical therapist. Chairs provided. Exercises customized to fit ability. Free for members. Birdsboro Senior Group: meets the first and third Thursday of each month at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 5 Brooke Manor in Birdsboro. Doors open at 9 a.m. Anyone age 55 and older from the Birdsboro area welcome. Bingo on first Thursday and craft on third Thursday, both start at 9:30 a.m. A home cooked meal is served at noon. Transportation is available if needed; call the church office at 610-582-8167 to make arrangements.
