Mother, son discuss their book ‘Under Our Roof’

POTTSTOWN » The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Membership Breakfast, as part of its 9 in 5 Series of Breakfasts, from 8 to 9:35 a.m. on April 20 at Brookside Country Club, at 850 N. Adams St., Pottstown.

This event will feature authors Madeleine Dean and Harry Cunnane to discuss their book “Under Our Roof.” They will share their personal story as mother and son, which was described by Amazon as, “an honest account of a pressing national crisis by a family poised to make a difference.”

The event is sponsored by Constellat­ion; Dana Incorporat­ed; Pottstown Hospital Tower Health; Precision Polymer Products, Inc.; Schultz Technology; Tompkins VIST Bank; and The Victory Bank.

The Membership Breakfast is one of five breakfasts, where TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce features nine different speakers. The 9 in 5 plan stems from chamber’s celebratio­n of 95 years as a Chamber and includes programs that are 95 minutes in length. These events are great networking opportunit­ies for local businesses to meet with other business owners in the tri-county area.

TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce is a membership organizati­on serving businesses in southeaste­rn Berks, western Montgomery, and northern Chester counties as well as the Route 422 corridor. Its mission is to leverage the power of membership to provide valued membership services and proactive leadership for the tri-county region.
