May 30 Boyertown Memorial Day Parade:
starts 9 a.m. at Boyertown Area Senior High School Monroe Street entrance, travels west on Philadelphia Avenue to Fairview Cemetery for Memorial Day Service to honor those who served. All people or vehicles entered in the parade must be decorated or themed in a way to honor the USA and veterans and should be at high school by 8:30 to line up. Custom cars, trucks, floats, military vehicles and veteran motorcycle clubs welcome. All people will be held to a proper code of ethics and safety. No throwing anything like candy from vehicles. Care Beyond Compare Award reception: 6:308:30 p.m. at Chestnut Knoll, Boyertown. Ceremony to honor retired Chestnut Knoll bus driver Sam Gaugler.
