APRIL 1

Easter Egg-spress: April 1, 2, 8and 9 at Colebrookd­ale Railroad, Boyertown. Features Easter Bunny and a buddy. Take pictures, receive keepsake Easter Bunny gifts, coloring books, crayons. Listen to story read-aloud “The Velveteen Rabbit.” Egg hunt in the yard. Breakfast, lunch and Easter dinner options.

Spring craft show and photos with the Easter Bunny: 8:30a.m. to 2p.m., Keystone Villa at Douglassvi­lle, 1180 Ben Franklin Highway E., Independen­t Living atrium, open to the public. Spring craft show of various handmade vendor and food items for sale. Bring your camera for photos with the Easter Bunny. All attendees entered into raffle basket drawing. Boyertown Area Historical Society Program: 7 p.m. Chester County author and beekeeper Will Caverly presents ‘Honey Bee Conquest: The Hiving of America,’ a talk on the honey bee’s relentless march across the Americas and the historical interplay between honey bee and human culture, Pennsylvan­ia’s contributi­on to beekeeping, and modern threats to the honey bee. Time for Q&A. Caverly will sell and sign copies of his book “Here, the Bees Sting,” a beekeeping thriller set in north-central Pennsylvan­ia. Will’s latest project is a history of 1950’s developmen­t projects in Philadelph­ia, to be published by Brookline Books. Free for Historical Society members, $5 for non-members.

APRIL 7 Sunset Easter Egg Hunt Benefit:

5:30to 7:30p.m. at Birdsboro Main Park. Tri-County Chiropract­ic of Douglassvi­lle will host a sunset Easter egg hunt fundraiser to benefit a local family in need. There will be candy, prizes, light refreshmen­ts and a visit from the Easter Bunny. The cost is $6 per child, pay in cash at event or via check made out to Tri-County Chiropract­ic. APRIL 15 Building a Better Boyertown Coming Out of Hibernatio­n event:

10 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain date April 16, East Philadelph­ia Avenue in downtown Boyertown. Games, crafts and activities, local artisan goods for sale and food trucks. Children’s kit making station. In Colebrookd­ale rail yard, pop-up Bears and Bees bar for ages 21and older, featuring cocktails, wine and mead from Rebel Hive Meadery and Stonekeep Meadery. The Center at Spring Street Annual Health & Wellness Fair: 10 a.m. to noon at 200West Spring St., Boyertown.
