May 28: We welcome Bobbie Hoffman, director of discipling at St. James Lutheran Church, Limerick, as she leads us in worship and presents the sermon at 9:30a.m. for Pentecost Sunday.

The gospel lesson for the day is John 20:19-23, where he says, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” (22) When he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

Altar Flowers: the cost has increased to $32for one vase and $64for two vases. If date is not available, you can sponsor an extra bouquet of flowers for $40. Use a flower envelope found in the rack in the narthex or clearly mark the envelope “Flowers”. Sponsor bulletins for $15per week to offset the cost of printing.

WAWA Hoagie Coupons: Available 1st Sunday of the month at the Scrip Table and in the church office Monday to Thursday, 9a.m. to 2p.m. Tickets are $4. This project benefits the Social Ministry.

Scout Troop 511Hoagies: sales will be the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Place orders on the 2nd Tuesday. $6each for ham, turkey, Italian or cheese with lettuce, onion, tomato, sides hot peppers or sweet peppers, Italian or mayo packets. To volunteer and to order as a new person, see Kitty Isett. Pick up will be at the old store every month. There will be no hoagie sales June, July and August.
