RCAC announces list of activities
The Rockmart Cultural Arts Commission has announced the following events.
A juried photography exhibit will be held in September. The entry deadline is July 31.
You are invited to enter the Rockmart Cultural Arts Center 2014 Juried Photography Exhibit. Cash prizes totaling $2,000, including $300 for Best of Show, will be awarded.

Are you a writer? Note the date of Aug. 5 at 6 p.m. in the Rockmart Cultural Arts Center, 316 N. Piedmont Ave., Bldg. 300, Rockmart.

RCAC Theatre and Bill J. Brooks present “Elvis and Friends” from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16.

Youth art exhibit, “There’s A Cow In My Backyard” on exhibit now through August 23.
This is a competition for ribbons and prizes sponsored by Polk Cattlemen’s Association. Please stop in on Fridays or Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to place your votes for your favorite cow! Deadline for voting is Aug. 22, 2014. Winners will be announced on Aug. 23 at the closing artists’ reception, which is free and open to the public.
