Ms. Elsie Faye Warren Welchel, age 81 of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014.

She was born on July 10, 1933 in Floyd County, the daughter of the late George Israel and Martha Gladys Warren.

Ms. Welchel is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Linda Faye Robinson and Ronnie Robinson, Diane Jacobs, Nancy Collins and Melissa Hayes; sons and daughter- in- law, Jerry Wayne Welchel, David Welchel and Christophe­r Welchel and Lisa Puckett Welchel; sister, Sandra Cook Wheat; brothers, Julius Warren and John Warren; grandchild­ren, Austin Welchel, Rodney Robinson, Kimberly Robinson Reeves, David Morgan, Keith Morgan, Ryan Welchel, Michael DeGennaro, Jordan Collins, Aaron Landrum and Janette Landrum and eight great-grandchild­ren.

Ms. Welchel is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hershel Welchel; daughter, Susan Welchel.

The funeral arrangemen­ts for Ms. Welchel will be conducted on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 at 3 p.m. in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. DeWayne New officiatin­g. Interment will follow in the Sanders Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Welchel received family and friends on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 in the afternoon prior to the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearer­s; Ryan Welchel, Mikey DeGennaro, David Morgan, Keith Morgan, Jordan Collins, Rodney Robinson, Austin Welchel and Aaron Landrum.
