Chicken coop fans stolen from Shiloh Road
Someone stole a farmer’s fans used for chicken coops, according to police reports.
Officers were called to a Shiloh Road property on Oct. 27 after a resident, who rents on the property, discovered three floor fans used in the chicken house were missing.
The resident said a neighbor alerted him after noticing a truck in the driveway with several big floor fans on it.
Police called the property owner and she told officers she gave permission to a man to go and get some scrap metal from her pasture, but did not give him permission to go to the chicken house.
Other neighbors told police two men in a truck were asking if they could haul off any scrap metal.
Police are investigating.
