Mrs. Zimmerman

Mrs. Patricia Zuker Zimmerman, age 75 of Lithia Springs, and formerly of Cedartown, passed away Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014.

She was born on July 19, 1939 in Cedartown to her parents, the late Charlie and Grady Lee Zuker.

Mrs. Zimmerman retired as a sewing machine operator at Lockheed Corporation following 25 years of dedicated service. She was a member of the Cedartown Church of God.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Zimmerman was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Zimmerman and brothers, Harland Zuker, Lijah Lee Zuker, and Charles Zuker.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chris Zimmerman and Linda Zimmerman; her daughters and sons-inlaw, Kimberly Weathers and Thomas Weathers, Pamela RickardsKucera and Radek Kucera; sisters, Trunicia (Teen) Gentry, Annette Watson, Faye and Larry Patterson; grandchildren, Adam Rickards, Jacob Zimmerman, Samuel Barker, and Justin Zimmerman. Three great-grandchildren also survive and one due in January 2015. A number of nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Patricia Zuker Zimmerman were conducted on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 11 a.m. from the Cedartown Church of God with the Rev. John Moates officiating. Mrs. Zimmerman lied in state one hour prior to the funeral. Interment followed in the Polk Memory Gardens.

The family received friends on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Adam Rickards, Samuel Barker, Justin Zimmerman, Jacob Zimmerman, Eddie Rickards and Cole Williamson.
