ROME, Ga. -- Celebrate the season of light at Oak Hill & The Martha Berry Museum with the 28th annual Candles and Carols on Dec. 5 and 6.

The traditional festival of music and luminaries will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each evening. Visitors will be welcomed by hundreds of luminaries lining the entrance drive to Oak Hill, creating a festive atmosphere for visitors to explore the Oak Hill house, the Martha Berry Museum, and the gift shop. This family-friendly event will feature Berry orchestral ensembles and Christmas carols sung by the Berry Elementary School choir.

Have your photograph made with Santa and Mrs. Claus and afterward wander through our miniature village of Berry College buildings while enjoying hot chocolate and other refreshments. The Oak Hill Gift Shop will be open for business, selling Berry College Christmas ornaments and hosting “The Kids’ Craft Station” in the Garden Room.

Parking and admission will be at the Harbin Clinic’s Main Campus at 1825 Martha Berry Boulevard, with transportation provided to and from the event. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under, and can be purchased at the event. For more information call Oak Hill & The Martha Berry Museum at 706-3686789.
