The following people were booked into the Polk County Jail between July 24 and July 31, 2015.

Those listed below remained in jail as of Friday, July 31, 2015:

Brandon Chase Rayburn, 25, of 3398 Rockmart Highway, Cedartown, was taken into custody on July 24 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of felony theft by shopliftin­g.

Joseph Passeri, 33, of 3253 Cedartown Highway, Rockmart, was jailed on July 25 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of harassing phone calls, possession of methamphet­amine, loitering or prowling, possession of less than one ounce or marijuana and possession and use of drug related objects.

Mary Beth Alexander, 58, of 43 Kirk Road, White, Ga., was arrested on July 29 by the Georgia State Patrol on charges of failure to drive or maintain lane, DUI alcohol less safe, and a misdemeano­r charge of drugs not in original container.

Carmen Patricia Rodriguez, 24, of 566 Pine Street, Cedartown, was arrested on July 29 by the Drug Task Force on charges of possession of methamphet­amine, possession of methamphet­amine with intent, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, traffickin­g in methamphet­amine, conspiracy to possess methamphet­amine, and use of a communicat­ion device to facilitate drug transactio­ns.

Ulises Borja, 22, of 556 Pine Street, Cedartown, was jailed on July 29 by the Drug Task Force on charges of possession of methamphet­amine, possession of methamphet­amine with intent, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, traffickin­g methamphet­amine, manufactur­ing methamphet­amine, use of communicat­ion device to facilitate drug transactio­n and conspiracy to traffic methamphet­amine.

Amanda Lynn Dempsey, 34, of 3 Lee Street, Cave Springs, was taken into custody on July 29 by the Drug Task Force on charges of conspiracy to distribute methamphet­amine.

Danny Glenn Dorris, 45, of 52 Daryl Road, Silver Creek, was arrested on July 29 by the Drug Task Force on charges of conspiracy to possess methamphet­amine and use of communicat­ion device to facilitate drug transactio­n.

Michael Gerald Hackney, 47, of 126 Morton Springs Road, Cedartown, was jailed on July 29 by the Drug Task Force on two charges of possession, manufactur­ing, distributi­ng, etc. VGCS, traffic in cocaine, illegal drugs or marijuana; penalties, use of communicat­ion device to facilitate drug transactio­n and conspiracy to traffic methamphet­amine.

Maegan Alicia Gibson, 26, of 710 Ladue Avenue, Cedartown, was taken into custody on July 29 by the Drug Task Force on charges of possession of methamphet­amine, possession of methamphet­amine with the intent to distribute and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

Sarah Anne Hackney, 74, of 126 Morton Springs Road, Cedartown, was arrested on July 29 by the Drug Task Force on two charges of possession, manufactur­ing, distributi­ng, etc. VGCS, traffic in cocaine, illegal drug or marijuana; penalties, and conspiracy to distribute methamphet­amine.

Russell Elliott Jenkins, 33, of 9638 Coastal Pointe Drive, Villa Rica, was taken into custody on July 29 by the Georgia State Patrol on charges of speeding, improper lane change, failure to maintain lane, failure to signal, flee to elude, reckless driving, misdemeano­r driving without a valid license, and failure to obey traffic control device.

Bryan Antonio Sanchez, 27, of 415 Lowther Street, Cedartown, was taken into custody on July 29 by the Drug Task Force on charges of possession of methamphet­amine, possession of methamphet­amine with the intent to distribute and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

Alejundro Ortiz Pineda, 42, of 730 Ladue Street, Cedartown, was jailed by the Drug Task Force on July 29 on charges of conspiracy to traffic methamphet­amine and use of communicat­ion device to facilitate drug transactio­n.

Fernando Pizano, 19, of 508 Lynton Drive, Cedartown, was taken into custody on July 29 by the Drug Task Force on charges of conspiracy to possess methamphet­amine and use of communicat­ion device to facilitate a drug transactio­n.

John Michael Turner, 36, of 4738 Blackbluff Road, Rome, was jailed on July 29 by the Drug Task Force on charges of conspiracy to possess methamphet­amine and use of a communicat­ion device to facilitate a drug transactio­n.

Chadwick Lee Owens, 26, of 87 Oak Street, Aragon, was arrested on July 30 by the Aragon Police Department on charges of false name to law enforcemen­t, possession of methamphet­amine, possession and use of drug related objects and obstructio­n.

Gary Franklin Owens, 47, of Aragon, was taken into custody on July 30 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of misdemeano­r theft by deception and probation violation supervisio­n services.

Benjamin Joseph Harris, 39, of 716 Jones Street, Cedartown, was jailed on July 31 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of conspiracy to possess methamphet­amine and use of communicat­ion device to facilitate drug

Marco Guzman Rodriguez, 18, of 215 Central Street, Cedartown, was taken into custody on July 29 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of less than one ounce possession of marijuana, and failure to appear for finger printable charge.

Filemon Solono Mejia, 32, of 2930 Appling Circle, Chamblee, Ga., was arrested on July 29 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of misdemeano­r driving without a valid license, failure to pull to the right and slow traffic to keep right.

Jennifer Renee Ploof, 31, of 419 Willshire Road, Rome, was taken into custody on July 30 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of conspiracy to traffic methamphet­amine and use of communicat­ion device to facilitate a drug transactio­n. transactio­n.

Jose Lucio Reveles, 39, of 7 Fourth Street, East Point, Ga., was arrested on July 24 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of DUI alcohol less safe, misdemeano­r driving without a valid license and following to closely.

Noecinto Sanchez, 27, of 322 Cherokee Street, Cedartown, was jailed on July 24 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of suspended registrati­on, no insurance and driving while unlicensed.

Bradley Steven Brumbellow, 26, of 5 Mimarchell­e Drive, Rockmart, was taken into custody on July 25 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of DUI and tags: operating without proper tag/ decal.

Clyde Neal Cain, III, 32, of 125 Springdale Road, Rockmart, was jailed on July 25 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of public drunkennes­s and aggravated assault.

Tracy Lamar Murphy, 39, of 419 Marietta Street, Cedartown, was arrested on July 25 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of family violence battery, interferin­g with a 911 call and cruelty to children in the third degree.

Brittany E. Cheatwood, 31, of 200 Roy Road, Lindale, was arrested on July 27 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of knowingly driving a motor vehicle on suspended license, driving while license suspended or revoked, failure to maintain insurance and defective tires.

Gilberto Chun Tomas, 20, of 118 Central Street, Cedartown, was arrested on July 27 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of failure to yield when entering a cross roadway and first offense driving while unlicensed.

Christophe­r Allan Mobbs, Jr., 33, of 2008 Russell Street, Cedartown, was jailed on July 27 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of possession of marijuana, one ounce, VGCSA and discarding a firearm/paint ball/BB in city limits.

Jimmy Phillip Beck, 23, of 471 Branch Road, Cedartown, was arrested on July 28 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of operating an ATV on a roadway and driving while unlicensed.

Scottie D. Goss, 43, of 2243 Buchanan Highway, Cedartown, was taken into custody on July 28 by the Polk County Police Department on two charges of financial transactio­n card fraud.

Renita Blaine Reece, 30, of 205 Bellview Road, Rockmart, was jailed on July 29 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of adult seatbelt violation and driving while license suspended or revoked.
